Raise Your Vibration
Published by btob December 17th, 2006 in Feel GoodAll day I’ve been hearing Esther Hicks whisper in my ear “you’ll never get it done” as I try to get it all done. It stops me in my tracks and I come right back to my present moment. My mind chatter subsides for a few minutes and I totally relax. I have noticed that this year I’m not as anxious about getting ready to travel as I have been in the past. Even though there’s a lot to do, I follow the plan I set out each morning, tell myself there’s plenty of time and go to it. I must say, though, that I’m looking forward to doing nothing for several days.
I haven’t done nothing for several days in years. Part of that was because I didn’t feel like I could. But now that I’ve taken the time to actually raise my vibration, my life is running itself much more smoothly. With a little practice, I’ll have the art of sitting and staring at the ocean down to a science. At which point, I will visualize myself doing much more of same. Meanwhile, as part of my planned break, I won’t be writing much until the New Year.
Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, I wish you a joyful frequency. For a little inspiration, read this quote from Abraham-Hicks:
The things that we would be asking ourselves is, “What proportion of my day am I in vibrational harmony with my desires, which means, how much of my day am I happy, glad, eager, fulfilled, satisfied, complimentary? And what percentage of my day am I ornery, irritated, frustrated, or blaming?” And you don’t have to do 100%, you don’t have to do 90%, you don’t have to do 80%. If you could even get around 55% feeling better, than not feeling so good — you’d have significant movement in what begins to happen in your experience. (excerpted from a workshop in San Diego, CA on 8/11/2001) All Is Well.
